New Years 2020 part 2

 

We spent our first evening in Key West watching the sun set from Mallory Square.

 We took a trip to Florida to see some friends, spent new year's eve in Dunedin then the next couple of days in Key West.

BMT (fall Boston Mtns Tour, Oct 26th, 2019)

 The BMT is a group drive in northwest Arkansas near Eureka Springs. Lots of fun twisty roads and fun cars of all kinds.

The Pig Trail is fun road to drive, you can tell from sign it's anything but straight.

Instead of heading north to go home I drove across Arkansas through the mountains on a foggy Sunday morning.

After crossing the Mississippi I drove through Memphis, this is Beal Street.

Racing a train heading north near the Mississippi River, I seem to remember winning.

With this post I'm finished with 2019 trips (yes, I'm posting this in 2021) and now on to 2020 when Covid resulted in staying home more than ever before.

Starved Rock State Park (Oct 24th, 2019)

 On my way to the fall Boston Mountains Tour in Arkansas I stopped by one of my favorite state parks in Illinois. I like it because it's full of waterfalls.

Starved Rock is full of stairs, wherever you want to go is either up 10 flights of stairs or down 10 flights of stairs.
