My driver was Marcus Erisson, we had a nice chat during the lap. He is a super nice guy and finished second if I remember right.

Every year when the indy cars race at the Mid-Ohio track they have a group of S2000 owners drive the drivers for the parade lap.

Beside getting on the track and meeting the drivers the best part is we get free weekend passes and our own parking lot next to the track.

The stadium trucks were also there for the weekend.

Or as it is now know, the Marietta Memorial Meet. Our annual drive in southern Ohio to honor an old friend known online as "Tomcatt".

Every drive involves stopping for food somewhere. The running joke is we drive 5 hours everyday just to eat lunch.

I finally decide to clean out my barn and give away a couple of project cars. My 73 454 vette that I drove all through college.

My 65 Corvair that I started working on in high school. I dropped a 350 v8 in the backseat.

Driving over the Mackinaw bridge, it's about 5 miles. You can walk this bridge every year on Labor Day which I did long long time ago.

Yes, I'm several years behind on posts so... lets see if I can catch up, lots and lots of trips in the last few years.

As part of the trip we took a drive up to Mackinaw City then took the ferry over to Mackinac Island.

No cars allowed on the island, only bikes and horses.
