| The Bonneville Salt Flats just west of Salt Lake City. I had to shoot the car from the side because there are about 10,000 bugs smashed on the front. |

| Once we hit Utah you turn south at West Wendover. |

| South from West Wendover is a whole lot of nothing for a long long way. We made sure to fill the car before heading down this road. |

| This is a solar plant just outside of Tonopah Nevada. It is not made up of a bunch of solar cells. It's a collection of mirrors that focus sunlight on this tower where it's melts salt at 1600 degrees. |

| Mono Lake, just east of the east entrance to Yosemite. |

| Mono Lake is a strange place where Tufa towers made out of limestone grow out of the water. |

| Once you stop at Lee Vining and fill up you head into Yosemite from the east and it's an awesome drive. |
