Coming back to St. Marten after a day on the water, this reminds me the movie island where King Kong lives.

This is actually Anguilla and that's St. Marten in the distance.

Blue Ridge weekend

After I got back from China I had a few extra days off and it was supposed to be a beautiful weekend south of us so we took a long weekend trip to NC to do some fun driving on the Blue Ridge Parkway with some S2K friends.

Chungqing Zoo

Spent the day at the Zoo during a work trip to China.

There are only a couple of zoos in the US with pandas, every zoo I've been to in China has pandas!

And all they seem to do is sleep and eat.

It was a really damp and overcast day.

With rain on and off everyone found somewhere to stay dry. These kids had sketchpads and were drawing scenes from the zoo.

Anything to try to stay dry.

Fall Dragon Run 15

The S2000 club has spring and fall weekend drives in North Carolina and Tennessee on the Tail of the Dragon.

I usually start by meeting a bunch of the midwest crew in Cincy and we have a fun group drive from there to the Exxon station in Maryville Tn where we meet a bunch more of people. After a quick fill up and catching up with old friends, we take a fun drive through Smokey Mountains National Park, followed by lunch in Gatlinbug or somewhere near by.

Fridays are usually fun drive to our favorite Cafe in Franklin Tn, followed by ice cream and a spirited drive.

Saturday morning we do a Dragon run in mass followed by group pics in the "gravel parking lot".

Someone decided this year it would be cool to group the cars by color.

The fall run is smaller so we park the cars nicely, the spring run is usually much bigger and it's all we can do to just fit them all in.

Road trip with some friends

In the fall of 2015 we took a weekend road trip to northern Michigan with some NSX friends.
