backyard wildlife

It's been a while since I did a things in my yard post, so here goes.

I have tons of photos of the deer standing but almost no in-focus moving photos, usually when they get spooked it's a couple of strides and a quick jump over a fence and they're gone.

Fishing for something.

more Bryce and a little Salt Lake

View from Guardmans Pass. I've been skiing and snowboarding in this area for 35 years and this is the first time I've driven over the pass. Before this trip I've been here in the winter and the road is closed, dead heads with a 10 foot high wall of snow.
The wedding was outdoors at Solitude Resort in Big Cottonwood Canyon which still had a little snow on the top.

Bryce Canyon National Park

Our last stop before heading to Salt Lake City for a weeding was Bryce Canyon National Park. It's a beautiful place but very underwhelming while driving it, just a bit uphill with some forest. You park, look around and think "I don't get it, what's so special". Then you walk up hill until you're standing on the edge of a huge bowl full of hoodoo's and it's really a 'WOW' moment, then you get it.
