The most incredibly shy bird in the world, I've been trying for years to get a good picture of him but as soon as I open the window or door he's off.

Florida trip

We took a trip to florida a couple months ago and I just got around to looking at the pics, which is why I took my camera in to get cleaned, I had so many dust spots to clean from these pictures, thank god for photoshop.

Our hotel on the beach in New Smyrna Beach just south of Daytona Beach. 

Dawn the first morning, yes I got up before dawn to take pictures, however 15 minutes after this shot I was back in the room fast asleep.

I've never taken a trip without at least one picture of moving water, fountains, rivers, something.

I had this perfect bird picture all lined up and then something flew right behind it, something always happens to mess up my pictures, oh well.

Almost forgot, while we were in Florida we saw the shuttle go up, WOW WOW WOW!!!!

Weeds

I just picked up my camera from having the sensor cleaned so hopefully no more little dust bunnies all over the pictures. I had to go try it with the macro lens I got for my birthday. I'd like to say these are flowers all over my yard but they are in fact weeds.

This is some kind of weird bird bug I noticed in the yard.

This weird plant is the nasty vine that wraps it's self around anything and slowly grows up and up and overtakes any tree or plant it can. I know for a fact this type of vine grows so strong that I can hang from it once it's all wrapped around the tree branches, and I still couldn't pull it out of the tree.

I noticed this while I was cutting the grass yesterday so I cut around them, hopefully nobody walks across the field and wonders why it's all cut except a little 2 foot circle in the middle.

The closer I got the louder he buzzed, this was as close as I felt comfortable.

Practice

This is my dream car.

This would be my second choice.

This looks like my wife's new car, except her's is red, and a convertible, and doesn't have hood strips, and ... ok, this is a mustang and my wife has a mustang, close enough.

 Day 1 and just seeing how this works. Here are some of my favorite cars from last years dream cruise.
