This white Heron visits my pond once or twice a week during the summer. I've been trying for years to get any good photos of it, but it's the shyest bird ever. I can get photos out the bedroom window, but open the door to the deck, try to sneak around the corner and "boom" he's gone.
Last summer he let his guard down, I was able to sneak out the front door and crawl across the front yard and get some photos thru the bushes. Hopefully none of my neighbors drove by so I never had to explain what I was doing.

| Finally I was able to crawl around to the end of pond to get photos without bushes. I never noticed that empty bucket until I was looking at these photo, guess I will have to add "clean pond" to my to-do list for next summer. |

| The ducks and the geese are completely the opposite, unless you walk right up to them, they just ignore you. |

| The turtles are a little shy, you can walk around the pond but just not get too close. They ignore you to a point, then move one step closer and they all head straight into the water together. |
