Rocky Mountaineer - Moab to Glenwood Springs

After two days in Moab we board the train again and head north to near I-40 then head east back toward Glenwood Springs and Denver.

Pronghorn Antelope - we saw quite a few of these but they were either eating grass or just standing there. Whenever you see video of them they are always running but we never saw that.

Mountain bikers across the canyon in Moab, this looked like a blast but I don't think I could handle the hills, lots of and up down.

Because we leave Moab around lunch time we get into Glenwood Springs after dark. We got to see a beautiful and ever changing sunset on the way.

Boarding the train our last day in Glenwood Springs.

Our train conductor and his favorite hat. One his last trip west he was in one of the open vestibules between cars and a gust of wind blew his hat off. On the way back east the train slowed near where it happened so everyone to look and someone spotted his hat in the grass and he was able to get it back.

We saw several bald eagles from the train but I got very few good photos. Since the train is always moving you had to be quick to get a good shot.
