Day 11 - Glacier National Park (part 1)

The plan was to drive from the east side to west side of the park over Going-to-the-sun Highway which is supposed to be one of the most beautiful roads anywhere. However, when we woke up it was overcast and looked more like Going-into-the-clouds highway. By the time we reach Logan Pass (the contential divide) you could only see about one car length. We thought the day was pretty much a waste, it was cold, wet, and you couldn't see anything. On the way down the clouds parted a little, then more and the ride down was beautiful.
