Days 8&9 - rest and drive

The first week was a lot of driving and doing things and we needed a day off so after driving to Idaho Falls, Idaho we took a whole day off to sleep, watch tv, wash the car (of course it then rained that night, figures) and just generally take it easy. Today we drove to Great Falls, Montana (I had to look it up, for a minute I completely forgot where I was). Tomorrow we're driving to St Mary, Montana and will spend part of the day at Glacier National Park.

I was tired from the all the driving. Yes that's a Pepsi on the night stand, I can't live without my Pepsi.
After lunch we took a walk along the river, the falls on the Snake River in downtown Idaho Falls. It's actually a big damn for generating electric power for the city.
The drive from Idaho Falls up to Great Falls, Montana alternates between huge farms and pretty valleys and mountains. We were racing the train and we won, smooth roads, no traffic, and 75 mph speed limits make for a fast trip.

Some of the interesting scenery along the drive.
