Day 6 - Yellowstone

We started the day by driving up to the Lemar valley, stopping at Tower Falls on the way. We then drove back to the canyon, did some sightseeing, then went on a nature walk along the south canyon rim with a park ranger.
We finished the day by driving up to Mamoth springs. Of course by then we needed gas and the station in the park was closed so we had to leave the park and drive into Montana to fill up before driving the almost 2 hours back to our room in the dark. The drive was exciting too, coming around a corner to find a Bison in the middle of the road.

Bison in the Hayden valley.
Some kind of bird, maybe a hawk or something.
Tower Falls.
Pronghorn antelope.
We were stuck in a traffic jam when these 2 bisons just stood in the middle of the bridge and walked around for 20-30 minutes.
Black bear.
Lower falls from the north rim of the canyon.
Upper falls from the south rim.
Lower falls from the south rim of the canyon.
I think this is a Coyote.
Mammoth hot springs.
We drove all over yellowstone looking for elk and what happens, when we have to drive to the north exit to find gas, there is a whole herd eating the grass in the middle the park headquarters near the north entrance.
